Derek started Netgain Property Management Services, LLC, in 2016, focused on striking the right balance between both the owners' wants and the tenants' needs. Having worked in the Real Estate industry for the past 14 years, he brought with him unique experience and insights to help separate Netgain from other property management companies in the area. Since starting they have pioneered different and creative solutions to the many issues facing the housing industry.
Since moving to Cedar City in 2007, he has been active in the community serving as Chairman of the Board of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, Iron County Home Builders Government Affairs Chair, Iron County Care and Share President, Spokesman for PETPO and Board Member for Youth Futures.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, coaching soccer, serving in his church, and running one of the largest Dodgeball Tournaments in the State of Utah to benefit the Iron County Care and Share (the local homeless shelter).
Shaunna is originally from southern Delaware but has been in Cedar for over 19 years. She's a people person at heart with a genuine desire to go above and beyond when someone needs it, as evidenced by her 15 years of diverse experience in helping people in difficult situations find solutions by working to build relationships.
Most recently, Shaunna spent 4 years in employment recruiting which opened her eyes to how much you can really do to help someone reach their goals just by believing in them, being kind and giving them a chance.
Shaunna loves music, it soothes her soul. When the weather is warm, she spends every weekend at the lake basking in the sun.
Julia moved to Cedar City from Nebraska about 15 years ago. She loved getting to grow up in Southern Utah and being a part of Cedar community in so many different ways, from being an active dancer and theater kid to working with the city as an adult. She enjoys being active outdoors, most especially hiking and photographing all of Utah's beautiful national parks.
Julia is a hard-working, extrovert who loves getting to build relationships with all kinds of people.
She loves spending her free time with her boyfriend, their two dogs and her kitty. She looks forward to growing her career with Netgain Property Management.
